Pine Bluff Transit is firmly committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any of its programs, services, or activities receiving federal financial assistance, on the basis of race, color, or national origin, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 49 U.S. Code § 5332.
Pine Bluff Transit provides:
- Fixed-route transit services
- Paratransit services under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
These services are supported by federal funding under the FTA Section 5307 program. Pine Bluff Transit does not pass federal funds to any sub-recipients.
Pine Bluff Transit is dedicated to advancing equity and access through ongoing evaluation and inclusive planning practices. The agency's Title VI Program will continue to evolve based on:
- Lessons learned through service planning and policy analysis
- Evaluation of service impacts
- Development of inclusive public participation strategies and community outreach efforts
